Miz Hot Ta' Molly
Day 1
Born with a double chin, Miz Molly looked like she would soon take down her brothers a notch or two..
Big Brothers, Nicholaus and Noah, were anxious to have her join them on the ball field and bicycle track.
Before the end of her first week, Molly took a turn for the worse.

Molly was flown to Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento on Tuesday morning, June 5th. The first diagnosis was sepsis. We all had a scary day as the antibiotics and blood transfusion did their work. All manner of Kings gathered to cheer her on, provide changes of clothes and delicious Thai food. After being a part of Cindy and Eric's homestead for a couple of nights, Noah and Nicholaus, stellar big brothers, are slipping into the Boom routine in Sacramento. Mom, sister Sarah, and gramma Dianne take turns holding Molly's hand and filling her up with kisses. Kevin's large warm hand will settle her right down.
The Wednesday news was that there probably was no sepsis, just the failure of the heart to keep up with her healthy (9 pound 3 ounce) cardio needs. The doctors discovered a hole in her heart and a kink in her aorta. She will need open heart surgery to repair the hole and to widen the kink. Check with Mary or Sarah for technical terms.
- I will be holding Molly and her family in my heart and doing my best to sent supportive thoughts your way. Never having been in the situation you are, I can't fully comprehend it, but I can appreciate it must be about the hardest thing you have ever faced and that I can relate to. Please, please, drive with care while you thoughts and prayers are with Molly and her parents and siblings. No matter what happens, they need you more than ever. Meanwhile, let the network of friends help you though this time. We cherish you and those you care for.
Lots of hugs and soft cotton hankies,
Nancy
