Miz Hot Ta' Molly's Made A Move!
June 19, 2007, 10:30 PM PD Tuesday
Noah, Nicholaus, Kevin, Grandma, Aunt Weenie, Shannon, and Luke went on a field trip to the Monteray Bay Aquarium today. We left early in the morning and got back in the evening. Highlights include the river otters, penguin feeding, sun fish (really weird), water play, the coral reef tunnel, an underwater picnic, the monkey face eel, and all the incredible, child centered activities that engaged a three year old, a sixty year old, and everyone in between.
While asking questions of the diver who feeds the fish in the tank, we got a call from Mary saying that the hospital had finally found a room for Molly on the third floor, out of the ICU. The best news of all is that the room is an isolation room, not because Molly needs to be in isolation, but it was the only room available. No roommates! When we showed up for dinner, it was quiet. The "D" word (discharge) was mentioned several times. Molly needs to be finished with the antibiotics and her incision needs to be fairly well heeled. Tomorrow, Wednesday, is a possibility. She is looking so healthy and her monitor cords reached across the new room and the whole family was snuggled together on the couch for a bedtime story. An amazing picture considering the outlook just 15 days ago.
